2. Services Provided

We offer one‑to‑one dog training sessions and behavioural support. All training is tailored to each dog and owner, but results depend on many factors, including consistency, environment, and the dog’s individual temperament.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safety and progress, clients agree to:

Provide accurate information about their dog’s behaviour and history
Follow training guidance during and between sessions
Ensure their dog is healthy, vaccinated as appropriate, and fit to participate
Keep their dog under control at all times during sessions

Owners remain legally responsible for their dog’s behaviour.

4. Booking & Payment

Sessions must be booked in advance.
Payment is required within 24 hours of invoice issued unless otherwise agreed.
Invoices are sent via email.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change.

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice can be rescheduled without charge.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, may be charged in full.
If we need to cancel due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at no cost.

6. Safety & Behaviour

Your dog’s safety and the safety of others is our priority. We reserve the right to stop a session if:

A dog shows signs of illness
A dog displays aggressive behaviour that poses a risk
Conditions are unsafe

No refunds are given for sessions ended due to undisclosed behavioural issues.

7. Training Methods

Cato Canine Academy uses modern, ethical training methods. We do not use or endorse aversive tools or techniques. If a client insists on using such methods, we may discontinue services.

8. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure safety, dog training involves inherent risks. Cato Canine Academy is not liable for:

Injury or damage caused by your dog
Loss or damage to personal property
Outcomes that differ from expectations

Clients accept full responsibility for their dog’s behaviour during and after training.

9. Photography & Social Media

We may occasionally take photos or videos during sessions for educational or promotional use. You can opt out at any time by telling us.

10. Data Protection
